Environmental Policy
Vitalograph recognizes the importance of environmental issues and has produced a policy to minimize the impact of its activities on the environment.
In design, procedures are in place to assess the impact of processes and materials and to design in the ability to recycle wherever possible. The selection of materials includes environmental as well as physical aspects.
Whenever possible, molded components use a significant proportion of recycled material. Packaging design considers minimizing waste, disposal or re-use.
Processes are selected for efficient energy use and minimal environmental impact. End of life disposal for products is considered, and components are re-useable, or modules such as circuit boards can be broken down for recycling.
Office and factory waste is sorted and materials recycled where possible.
